Dr. Jeff Collins, Minister at "The Pines Christian Church"
Cincinnati Bible College Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry
Cincinnati Bible Seminary MA in Old Testament Studies & M Div in
Theology
Andersonville Theological Seminary Doctorate in New Testament
I Take my philosophy of ministry directly from the example of Ezra. "For Ezra had set his heart to study the law of the LORD and to practice it, and to teach His statutes and ordinances in Israel."
(Ezra 7:10 NASB)
I am fully convinced that the primary function of a minister is to preach and teach the Word of God. I place a high value upon preaching and teaching. Paul's statement to Timothy rings deep inside me daily when he states: "Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will endure salvation both for yourself and for those who hear you." (1 Timothy 4:16 NASB)
